NCT ID NCT06883279
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at whether injecting numbing medicine around the nerve bundle (instead of directly into it) could lower the chance of severe rebound pain after shoulder surgery. Rebound pain is a short but intense pain that can happen as the numbing medicine wears off. The study involved 85 adults having arthroscopic shoulder surgery and compared two injection approaches. The goal was to find a way to make recovery less painful.
