Can your insurance records predict a Drug's success? researchers put it to the test
NCT ID NCT06914154
Summary
This study did not test a new drug on people. Instead, researchers used existing health insurance records from over 11,000 people to see if they could replicate the results of a major heart failure drug trial. The goal was to understand when and how real-world data from doctors' visits and prescriptions can reliably answer medical questions, helping to guide future research methods.
