New ultrasound tech aims to end failed epidurals in labor and c-sections

Summary
This study tests a new ultrasound device (Accuro 3S) that helps doctors see the spine in real time during epidural or spinal needle placement. The goal is to reduce failed blocks and the need for multiple needle sticks, especially in patients where placement is difficult. About 100 adults getting neuraxial anesthesia for labor or C-section will take part at Stanford University.
