First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the mental, physical, and social well-being of minority women and their families in North Carolina. Researchers will survey 700 healthy women aged 18 and older from African American, Hispanic, Native American, Asian American, and Pacific Islander communities. Participants may also provide blood, urine, saliva, toenail, and household dust samples, and wear wristbands to measure air pollution exposure. The goal is to use this information to create community programs that support recovery.
