Summary
This study looks at whether a computer tool called pediatric eCART can help doctors quickly identify hospitalized children at high risk for serious problems like cardiac arrest or sepsis. Researchers will compare data from before and after the tool was put into use, involving up to 30,000 hospital visits. The goal is to see if the tool helps reduce deaths and time in the ICU.
