NCT ID NCT06983093

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study will test whether using a rain stick or a musical egg during blood collection can reduce pain, fear, and anxiety in children aged 4-6. About 120 children will be randomly assigned to use one of these toys or receive standard care. The goal is to find a simple, non-drug way to make needle procedures less distressing for young kids.
