First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether an extra dose of radioactive iodine can help people with differentiated thyroid cancer whose tumor marker (thyroglobulin) stays high but whose scans show no visible cancer. About 100 adults who have already had their thyroid removed and standard radioactive iodine treatment will receive another round. The main goal is to see if the tumor marker drops after the extra treatment.
