New strategy aims to stop skin cancer from coming back
NCT ID NCT05561634
Summary
This study is for people with a difficult-to-treat, advanced form of skin cancer called basal cell carcinoma. It tests if adding a short course of radiotherapy (radiation treatment) right after patients have successfully cleared their cancer with special drugs can help keep the cancer from returning. The goal is to see if this combined approach provides better long-term control than stopping the drugs alone.
