Doctors test which spot is best for Kids' surgery monitoring tubes
NCT ID NCT07062861
Summary
This study aims to find the better method for placing a small tube in a child's wrist artery to monitor blood pressure during surgery. Doctors will use ultrasound to guide the tube into one of two spots on the same artery in 50 children having planned surgery. They will compare how often each method is successful, how long it takes, and if there are any complications.
