Summary
This study tests whether adding special lessons to an existing social-skills program (Second Step) helps prevent violence and improve classroom relationships. About 145 teachers and their students in elementary and middle schools will take part. The program teaches four key skills: Recognizing, Responding, Relationships, and Resilience.
