Can better monitoring prevent breathing problems after surgery?

Summary
This study tests if a more precise way to monitor muscle relaxants during surgery can improve breathing after the operation. About 1,000 adults having non-heart surgery will be randomly assigned to either the new quantitative monitor or the standard qualitative one. The goal is to see which method leads to better oxygen levels in the recovery room.
