First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study tested whether a quadrivalent (four-strain) flu vaccine works as well as or better than a trivalent (three-strain) flu vaccine. Over 7,000 healthy or medically stable people aged 6 months and older in China took part. Researchers measured immune responses and tracked side effects to see if the four-strain shot offers broader protection.
