New combo therapy shows promise for Tough-to-Treat head and neck cancer

Summary
This study tests a new combination treatment for people whose head and neck cancer has come back. It combines a short course of radiation called QUAD SHOT with the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and can help shrink tumors or improve quality of life. About 30 adults with recurrent head and neck cancer are taking part.
