New drug aims to fix chemo side effect and keep cancer treatment on track

NCT ID NCT06456528

First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called QL0911 for cancer patients whose platelet levels drop too low after chemotherapy. Low platelets can delay treatment and cause bleeding risks. The trial will compare the drug to a placebo in 235 adults aged 18-75 to see if it safely raises platelet counts and helps patients finish their chemo on schedule.
