First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests a traditional Chinese herbal formula, Qingre Huatan, to see if it can prevent early neurological decline in people who have just had a stroke. About 72 adults who had a stroke within the last 48 hours and are at high risk of getting worse will receive either the herbal formula or a placebo. The main goal is to check if fewer people on the formula have worsening symptoms within the first week.
