Ancient qigong meets modern exercise to calm panic attacks
NCT ID NCT07439224
Summary
This study is testing whether two types of exercise training—qigong (a gentle mind-body practice) and a multicomponent exercise program—can help people with panic disorder. Researchers want to see if these activities can reduce anxiety and panic symptoms, while also improving physical health, balance, sleep, and overall quality of life. The study will involve 60 adults diagnosed with panic disorder to compare the effects of these exercise approaches.
