New scan could spot hidden cancer spread in three tough cancers

NCT ID NCT05394259

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 28, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special PET-CT scan using PYLARIFY (piflufolastat F18) can better detect cancer that has spread in people with pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, or breast cancer. About 36 adults will get the scan, and doctors will compare the results to standard methods to see how accurate it is. The goal is to improve how we find metastasis in these cancers.
