First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a nurse-led breathing exercise called Pursed Lip Breathing can help people with COPD feel less anxious and have better vital signs (like heart rate and oxygen levels) right after a bronchoscopy. About 64 adults with COPD who are having a planned bronchoscopy will take part. Half will get the breathing exercise plus standard care, and the other half will get standard care alone.
