First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests if a 6-week outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation program can improve breathing and walking ability in people with post-PE syndrome, a condition where symptoms like shortness of breath persist after a pulmonary embolism. About 48 adults will be randomly assigned to start rehab right away or wait. The goal is to see if structured exercise and education can ease symptoms and improve quality of life.
