Direct-to-Lung chemo delivery aims to stop cancer spread

Summary
This study tests a procedure called pulmonary suffusion, which delivers chemotherapy drugs like cisplatin directly to the lungs through a minimally invasive method. The goal is to control any remaining cancer cells after surgery or ablation in patients with sarcoma or colorectal cancer that has spread to the lungs. About 99 adults with resectable or ablatable lung metastases are being enrolled to see if this approach is safe and can reduce the chance of cancer coming back in the lungs.
