NCT ID NCT07532057
First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested an 8-week supervised program of breathing exercises and light strength training for people with advanced lung cancer (stage IIIB/IV) who were getting chemotherapy. Thirty patients took part; half did the rehab program and half did simple home exercises. Those in the rehab group could walk farther, had better lung function, and reported less coughing, pain, and fatigue. The study shows that adding pulmonary rehabilitation to standard cancer care can improve daily life for people with advanced lung cancer.
