NCT ID NCT06630884

First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at whether short-term changes in the immune system can alter how people with PTSD process fear. About 288 adults who have experienced trauma will receive either a typhoid vaccine or a placebo. Researchers will measure their physical responses to sounds and use questionnaires to see if the immune system plays a role in fear-related thinking.
