Summary
This study tested a 10-week group program called START for veterans with PTSD who had not responded to other treatments. The program helps veterans gradually reduce safety behaviors (like always checking locks or avoiding triggers) that can keep PTSD going. 45 veterans took part, and researchers measured changes in PTSD symptoms, safety behavior use, and satisfaction with the program.
