Mind over pain: 20-Minute mental tricks tested in colombian hospitals

Summary
This study tests two quick, drug-free mental techniques—body-scan mindfulness and guided imagery—to see if they can lower acute pain in hospital patients. About 160 adults in Colombia will receive one of these brief sessions or a standard educational talk. Pain levels are measured right before and after the session to see if these simple exercises help.
