First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at how runners' minds handle a very long, 120-kilometer race. Researchers want to understand how people's emotional habits and coping styles affect their feelings, tiredness, and performance during the race. About 80 healthy adults who are already signed up for the race will take part. The goal is to learn more about the link between mind and body in extreme sports, not to test a treatment.
