First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding an antidepressant (escitalopram) to standard psoriasis medication (methotrexate) works better than methotrexate alone for people who have both psoriasis and depression or anxiety. About 40 adults with moderate-to-severe psoriasis and mood issues will be followed for 6 months. The goal is to see if the combination improves skin symptoms, quality of life, and mental health.
