First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests whether a single dose of psilocybin mushrooms (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) can help adults with depression that hasn't improved with standard treatments. Half of the 24 participants will also take the antidepressant fluoxetine (Prozac) to see if it changes the effects. The goal is to measure mood changes over 4 weeks and see if the combination is safe and effective.
