Which PRP machine works best for knee arthritis? a Head-to-Head test

NCT ID NCT07491367

First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at two different FDA-approved machines that create platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for people with knee osteoarthritis. PRP is made from your own blood and may help with joint pain and stiffness. The researchers will check if the PRP from each machine has different amounts or activity of platelets, and they will also ask participants about their symptoms after the injection. The goal is to see which system produces better quality PRP.
