Which PRP machine works best for knee arthritis? a new study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07491367
First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at two different FDA-approved machines that create platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for people with knee osteoarthritis. PRP is made from your own blood and may help with joint pain. The researchers will check if the PRP from each machine has different amounts or types of platelets, and they will also ask participants about their symptoms after the injection. The goal is to see which machine produces better PRP for treating knee arthritis.
