Could a blood plasma injection help women have more babies?
NCT ID NCT04278313
Summary
This study is testing whether injecting a concentrated part of a woman's own blood, called platelet-rich plasma (PRP), directly into her ovaries can improve their function. It involves 90 women with signs of early ovarian aging who are trying to get pregnant through IVF. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either the PRP injection or a placebo injection to see if PRP helps produce more and better-quality embryos.
