Summary
This study follows 1,000 children with tumors who are receiving proton therapy as part of their regular care at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Researchers are not testing a new treatment but are carefully tracking serious side effects to better understand the safety of this type of radiation. The goal is to learn how often severe non-blood-related side effects occur and whether they are linked to the proton therapy.
