New combo therapy shows promise for Hard-to-Treat liver cancer

Summary
This study tests a new treatment for people with advanced liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. It combines precise proton radiation with two immunotherapy drugs (tremelimumab and durvalumab) to boost the immune system's attack on the tumor. About 45 participants will receive this combination to see if it improves cancer control and survival compared to standard therapy.
