First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests if giving tranexamic acid (a drug that helps blood clot) before a lung biopsy in lung transplant recipients can lower the risk of bleeding. About 94 adults who have had a lung transplant will take part. Half will get the drug and half will get a saltwater spray, and neither they nor their doctors will know which they received.
