Summary
This study looks at how high-protein drinks affect certain blood cells (monocytes and platelets) that may play a role in heart disease. Ten healthy adults will drink either a low-protein, high-protein, or leucine-added meal, and researchers will measure cell changes over several hours. The goal is to understand if high-protein diets could increase cardiovascular risk, not to treat or cure any condition.
