NCT ID NCT04989946

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests a DNA vaccine (pTVG-AR) combined with hormone therapy and immune-boosting drugs in 60 men with newly diagnosed, high-risk prostate cancer who plan to have their prostate removed. The goal is to see if the vaccine can train the immune system to attack cancer cells more effectively, potentially leading to complete tumor disappearance or minimal remaining disease at the time of surgery. Participants will be followed for up to 15 months to monitor safety and cancer control.
