New surgical technique aims for faster recovery after prostate cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT07417475
Summary
This study compared two different ways of performing robotic surgery to remove the prostate for cancer. Researchers wanted to see if a newer method called the HOOD technique helped men regain bladder control more quickly after surgery compared to the standard method. They followed 200 men for 12 weeks after their operations to measure recovery speed and surgical outcomes.
