Small study tests whether waiting is safe for prostate cancer return
NCT ID NCT05008900
First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at two ways to handle a rise in PSA levels after prostate cancer surgery. One group got radiation therapy right away, while the other group was monitored with regular PSA tests and only had a special scan when PSA rose further. The goal was to see if waiting and scanning later is a practical option. Only 4 people took part, so the results are very limited.
