Small study tests whether waiting is safe for prostate cancer relapse
NCT ID NCT05008900
First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at two ways to manage prostate cancer that comes back after surgery. Some men got radiation right away, while others were monitored with regular PSA tests and a special scan only when PSA rose further. The goal was to see if monitoring with delayed imaging is a practical option. Only 4 men took part, so the results are very limited.
