NCT ID NCT04422132
First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests if a very short course of radiation (5 treatments over 2 weeks) causes similar or fewer bowel and urinary side effects compared to a standard short course (20 treatments over 4 weeks) for men whose prostate cancer has returned after prostate removal. About 134 men will participate, and researchers will track side effects, cancer progression, and quality of life for up to 5 years. The goal is to find a more convenient treatment that is just as safe.
