Brain scans reveal hidden side effects of prostate cancer drugs
NCT ID NCT03016741
Summary
This study investigates whether two common prostate cancer drugs (abiraterone acetate and enzalutamide) affect thinking, memory, and brain function. Researchers are following 100 men with advanced prostate cancer, using brain scans and cognitive tests to measure changes over time. The goal is to understand how these treatments impact quality of life and identify which patients might be more sensitive to these effects.
