New exercise program aims to help ACL patients regain balance and confidence
NCT ID NCT07333092
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding proprioceptive exercises (movements that improve body awareness) to standard balance training helps people who had ACL surgery. Fifty participants, 2 weeks after surgery, will be split into two groups: one gets only balance exercises, the other gets balance plus proprioceptive exercises. The goal is to see if the extra exercises improve balance, reduce fear of movement, and boost daily function.
