Summary
This study aimed to understand if a hormone called prolactin is involved in systemic scleroderma, a disease that causes hardening of the skin and internal organs. Researchers measured prolactin levels in 71 adults with scleroderma and compared them to healthy people. The goal was to see how common high prolactin is and if it connects to specific symptoms, to gather clues for future research.
