Summary
This study tested a 10-session group program called Project Life Force for 294 veterans at high risk for suicide. The program helps veterans build and improve their personal suicide safety plans by learning coping, emotion regulation, and interpersonal skills. Researchers compared this group approach to standard individual safety planning to see which better reduces suicidal thoughts and behaviors over 12 months.
