Summary
This study looks at whether a probiotic food supplement can improve blood sugar levels and limit weight gain in pregnant women who have a BMI over 25. About 84 women in early pregnancy will take the supplement and be monitored for changes in glucose and insulin. The goal is to see if probiotics can help manage metabolic health during pregnancy.
