Summary
This study tested whether a probiotic called WecProB can help children aged 6 months to 12 years recover faster from mycoplasma pneumonia. Sixty children took either the probiotic or a placebo, and researchers measured the amount of bacteria in their noses and throats. The goal was to see if the probiotic could shorten the illness and improve symptoms.
