Summary
This study tested whether adding a probiotic (VSL#3) to standard treatment can improve disease activity and reduce flare-ups in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). 51 children aged 1 to 7 with specific types of JIA took part. The goal was to see if the probiotic could help control the disease and change gut bacteria.
