First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking a daily probiotic (Lab4P) for 12 weeks can improve memory and thinking skills in overweight young adults (ages 18-40) who have prediabetes (mildly high blood sugar). Researchers will also check if the probiotic helps with blood sugar control, cholesterol, and gut health. The goal is to see if a simple supplement can support both brain and metabolic health.
