Gut bacteria joins fight against advanced cancers

Summary
This study is testing if adding a specific probiotic (Lactobacillus johnsonii) to standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy helps people with certain advanced cancers. It will enroll 156 adults with advanced lung, breast, or stomach cancer that has stopped responding to prior immunotherapy. The main goal is to see if the probiotic helps slow or stop cancer growth for a longer time compared to standard treatment alone.
