First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tests whether a vaginal testosterone cream can prevent repeat urinary tract infections (UTIs) in postmenopausal women aged 60-90 who have had at least three UTIs. Participants will apply the cream or a placebo for 9 months and be monitored for infections. The goal is to see if testosterone can restore healthy vaginal bacteria and lower UTI risk.
