New questionnaires give voice to recurrent UTI sufferers

NCT ID NCT05086900

First seen Jun 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026

Summary

This study involved 283 adults and aimed to create and test two new questionnaires that measure how recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) affect people's symptoms and quality of life. The tools, called RUTISS and RUTIIQ, ask about pain, discomfort, and the impact on daily activities, work, and relationships. These questionnaires are designed to help doctors and researchers better understand the patient's experience and track whether treatments are working.
